These are the Terms & Conditions for the 1st International Workshop on Open Molecular Informatics (IWOMI) 2023.

This website is dedicated to organising the International Workshop on Open Molecular Informatics (IWOMI), an annual scientific event which brings together computational scientists who perform research in the molecular sciences (chemistry, molecular biology, etc).

Payment:
(a) The registration to the conference is binding.
(b) The participation fees are payable in Euro within 14 days after the invoice date, but not later than 10 weeks before the start of the workshop.
(c) Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received.
(d) Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis according to receipt of payment.
(e) If there are more registrations than available places a waiting list is being operated.

Cancellation Policy:
(a) All cancellations must be made by written notification and addressed to the conference organizers. Cancellations by phone will not be accepted.
(b) Conference fees will only be refunded if the cancellation is received until 10 weeks before the start of the event. In this case, the conference fee will be refunded minus processing charges of 100 Euro.

Personal Data:
The personal information provided by the attendee will be stored by the organisers and used solely for the purpose of managing your workshop registration and to inform you about future events. This information will not be sold or distributed to any third parties.

Liability and Insurance:
Neither the workshop organizers, nor its agents or representatives, will be responsible for any injury, loss or damage that may occur to the attendee from any cause whatsoever. Attendees shall obtain, at their own expense, adequate insurance against any such injury, loss or damage. The conference organizers shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations as a result of strikes, riots, acts of God, or any other cause beyond its control.

Applicable Laws and Competence:
Any action that workshop organizers or attendee may bring against the other, based upon or in any way relating to this conference or its performance, shall be brought in a court located within the Germany jurisdiction, and conference organizers and attendee do hereby waive all questions of personal jurisdiction or venue in order to give effect of this provision.

Workshop Program:
Due to the nature of this open science event, the workshop program may be subject to changes based on the decision of the workshop participants during the meeting.
